Dr Tshinetise David Raphalalani is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of African Languages. He had worked for 27years in the Department of Basic Education as a secondary school teacher when he joined UNIVEN. He has supervised Honours, Masters and PhD students. Dr Tshinetise David Raphalalani is the current Board Chairperson of Tshivenḓa National Lexicography Unit (TNLU) in the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education at the University of Venda. His research interests lie primarily in sociolinguistics, morphology and folklore. He specialises in Morphology Folklore and Sociolinguistics and has published extensively in peer reviewed and accredited journals. Among his recent publications are:
