Margaret McNamara Education Grants ( MMEG ) is a 501(c)(3) US registered nonprofit organisation whose mission is to provide financial resources to women from developing countries to complete their academic degrees, with the expectation that the women who receive grants are committed to work to improve the well-being of women and children.
MMEG has been providing grants to 5 South African universities since 2007, this year the opportunity is open to 25 universities in South Africa. The website attests to the 119 exceptional women from the South Africa program www.mmeg.org
