Assumption of 2024 lectures
This memo serves to inform staff and students that at its special meeting on 05 February 2024, the Executive Committee of Senate, SENEX resolved that the commencement of 2024 University academic activities should be postponed from Monday, 05 February 2024, to Monday, 12 February 2024, to allow the processes of admission and registration for first entering students and the allocation of rooms for off-campus residences to be finalised. Classes will then commence on Monday, 12 February 2024. It was emphasised that this is a once-off concession that will not be repeated under any circumstances. Furthermore, this does not apply to classes relating to the Faculty of Health Sciences, which have already commenced.
