The Emerald Group Publishing in partnership with the University of Venda Library
(Univen) held the Emerald Univen Quiz Awards presentation on 15 November 2017 at Library Hall.
The winners from left to right: Edward Netshilaphala (3rd position), Terry Leboho (on behalf of Patricia Macil) and Ntanga Sadiki (2nd position).
There were 17 entries and only 3 students emerged victorious. The winners were as follows: Patricia Macil (1st position) and she received tablet and keyboard, Ntanga Sadiki (2nd position) and he received backpack; while Edward Netshilaphala (3rd position) received Emerald hamper. Terry Leboho received the award on behalf of Patricia Macil who was not available.
The winners were delighted and felt honoured. They thanked Emerald for giving them opportunity.
Mr Sibu Zondi, Emerald Publishing South Africa, said that the student quiz is an Emerald sponsored student activity aimed at creating awareness and grow usage of the platform by students. “The Univen quiz started on 19 September and ended on 19 October 2017,” Mr Zondi added.
