1.Postdoctoral Fellowship in Tuberculosis Research
The MRC TB Research Group at the University of Venda is seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral fellow to join its Research Team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects related to tuberculosis, including the development of new diagnostic tools and treatments, as well as studies on the epidemiology and transmission of the disease.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in microbiology, immunology, or a related field, as well as experience in tuberculosis research. The position is funded for three years renewable, and the successful candidate will be based at the University of Venda in Thohoyandou, South Africa.
Responsibilities
−Conduct research on tuberculosis under the supervision of senior scientists.
−Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
−Present research findings at conferences and workshops.
−Mentor and train undergraduate and graduate students.
−Assist with the development and implementation of research grants.
Qualifications
PhD in microbiology, immunology, or a related field.
Experience in tuberculosis research.
Strong publication record.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
