The University of Venda Management has postponed 2022 autumn graduation ceremonies from Friday 20 May to Thursday 14 and Friday 15 July 2022. Details about the sessions will be made available to graduands through the Office of the University Registrar. Although we feel a great sense of disappointment that we will not be able to celebrate our student achievements on 20 May as initially scheduled, we greatly look forward to an incredibly memorable event as we celebrate not only our student achievements, but also our 40th Anniversary.
The University Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Dr Bernard Nthambeleni says “graduation is a significant occasion for graduands and their families. It signifies a very important accomplishment. UNIVEN acknowledges the importance of keeping the tradition of celebrating the accomplishments of each graduating class, taking into cognisance the safety and wellbeing of the graduating class, and other stakeholders attending the ceremonies”.
We look forward to seeing our graduands walking across the stage at the University of Venda on 14 and 15 July 2022.
