The University of Venda (Univen) has been in partnership with the University of Linnaeus, Sweden for over 5 years now. During the period, staff and student exchanges have taken place in the School of Health Sciences particularly at the Department of Advanced Nursing.

Fridda Erickson and Joannah Gustason are undergraduate students in the Faculty of Nursing at the Linnaeus University, Sweden. They have been on campus from 09 September 2018 until 28 September 2018. This was a two-week programme in the Department of Advanced Nursing under the supervision of Mrs Friddah Mathevula. The students participated in clinical accompaniment at nearby hospitals, classes and site visits and intercultural exchange programmes during the period. The visit was coordinated by the Directorate of International Relations together with the Department of Advanced Nursing.
