UNIVEN signed MoU with Shoolini University, India
The University of Venda (UNIVEN) and Shoolini University, India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the visit of the representatives of the University, Prof Ram Prakash Dwivedi, Director International Affairs and Dr Rozy Dhanta, Assistant Director International Affairs between 13-15 June 2018.

Prof Dwivedi while introducing his university to the academics present during the ceremony said, Shoolini University is a highly specialised university which is among the very best universities in India. The University has produced up to 49 patents in the fields of engineering, biotechnology and health. The signing of the MoU was officiated by Adv Thanyani Mphephu from the Legal Services Directorate. Prof Dwivedi signed on behalf of ShooliniuUniversity while Dr Segun Obadire, Acting Director International Relations signed as witness on behalf of the Acting Vice-Chancellor and Principal in the presence of Prof Jude Odiambo, Deputy Dean School of Agriculture, Prof Takalani Mashau, School of Education, Prof Nemathaga, School of Health Sciences and others.

Prof Mashau while welcoming the visitors encouraged both parties that the signed MoU should be made active as much as possible in all the areas specified in it. He said that both universities share several commonalities which should be explored.
